How to Use: First make sure to insert the MicroSD card (up to 16 GB, not included) into the card slot. The unit will not record without the MicroSD card inserted. After the card is inserted, press and hold the "Play/Pause" button. A blue light will turn on indicating the camera is starting up. When the orange light is on the DVR camera is in standby mode.

From standby mode the camera can start a video recording or snap a photo.

1) Record a Video Pressing the "(+)" button will start your recording. You know you are recording when the blue light begins flashing. While recording the blue light will continue flashing. The recording will continue until the "(+)" button is pressed again. Once the orange light turns back on, the camera is in standby mode again.

2) Snap a Photo Also from standby mode, you can take pictures. By simply pressing and quickly releasing the "(-)" button, a picture is saved to MicroSD card. While the blue light is flashing the camera is saving the image. You are back in standby mode when the light turns back to orange.

When you are done recording images and videos, push and hold the "Play/Pause" button until the yellow indicator light turns off. You are now ready to download or view your images on your Mac or PC.
